Section 45 of Insurance Act, 1938 states: In accordance with Section 45 of Insurance Act, 1938, no policy of life insurance shall, after the expiry of two years from the date on which it was effected, be called in question by an Insurer on the ground that a statement made in the proposal of insurance or any report of a medical officer, or a referee, or a friend of the insured, or in any other document leading to the issue of the policy, was inaccurate or false, unless the Insurer shows that such statements was on material factor or suppressed facts which it was material to disclose and that it was fraudulently made by the policy holder and that the policy holder knew at the time of making that the statement was false or that it suppressed facts which it was material to disclose.

PlatinumOne Insurance Broking Private Limited reserves the right to use the database (or data or information) as and when required including all the personal details of Users such as telephone numbers, addresses or similar contact/profile details.
Insurance is a contract of utmost good faith between the User and the Insurer, and it will be the duty of the User to not conceal and provide all necessary information asked for in the Application Form clearly, comprehensively and in detail, however insignificant or irrelevant it is presumed to be.

Any online payment transaction using Credit/Debit/ATM Card will need to be routed through the secured Net banking Website of an Indian Bank only. Any such payment transaction using a Credit Card can be done only if the card is issued by a Bank or Card Issuing Agency based out of India. The payment gateway's/issuing Bank's/Credit Card agency's security norms and terms and conditions will apply for the transaction at the time of making the online payment.
In the case of any difference in policy premium or taxes/cess, whether positive or negative, as quoted on the Website versus what is finally demanded by the Insurer, the difference is to be paid off by or refunded to solely and completely by the User and PlatinumOne Insurance Broking Private Limited will not be responsible for such differences in premium quotes.
GST, Swachch Bharat cess, education cess, or any other cess announced by the Government from time to time, will be charged extra as per applicable rates, unless mentioned clearly. Tax benefits are as per the Income Tax Act, 1961 or further revisions, and are subject to amendments made thereto from time to time. The User must keep in mind the impact of changes in taxes, cess, tax regulations, etc. before buying the insurance policy.

Unless otherwise specified, all figures showing returns from investments are for illustrative purposes only, and are not guaranteed or actual or model returns. Free-Look Period : Insurance companies have their own policies for free-look with minimum standards being prescribed by IRDAI. Also, depending on the mode of purchase, especially for Direct Marketing, Tele-Marketing and Online Sales, companies offer up to 30 days of Free-look period. This is subject to change from time to time by the Regulator and/or by the companies. Also, please note that free-look is not applicable to all kinds of insurance policies and that if applicable, are under certain conditions only. Free-look cancellation also comes with applicable charges such as stamp duty paid, insurer's administrative costs, cost of medical tests if any, cost of mortality charges for the period till when cancellation is done, profit/loss due to change in NAV value (for ULIP policies), etc. Users are requested to check all details of the free-look period in their product (which would be mentioned in the product brochure or any such document made available by the insurance company) before buying the product.
